How can I care for my new piercing?

It's important to follow these basic tips to keep your piercing looking perfect:

  • Wash your hands with water and neutral pH soap before handling the piercing.
  • Apply the product recommended by your piercer, and avoid using creams, alcohol, or perfumes.
  • Don't clean your piercing more often than advised; over-cleaning can irritate the area. After cleaning, pat the area dry with gauze.
  • For oral piercings, avoid eating hot and spicy foods in the following days and maintain proper oral hygiene.
  • Do not change the jewelry piece without consulting your piercer.
  • Avoid sleeping on your piercing and applying pressure.

After getting a new piercing, you might experience some discomfort in the following days. Don't worry; it's normal. Just handle them with proper care.
Some reactions may include:

  • Feeling pain, stinging, or even slight bleeding in the area during the first few days.
  • Discharge of fluid that will later form a crust.
  • Swelling in the days following your piercing.

When you notice these reactions, simply follow your piercer's aftercare advice. If you're unsure, don't hesitate to contact your piercer! They can provide all the necessary answers and advice for proper care.

When it comes to jewelry for healed piercings, most of our pieces are made of Sterling Silver. We also use Stainless Steel and pieces plated in 18k Gold.

For piercing jewelry, the material used is titanium. It's considered the best material for initial and post-healing piercings. It's hypoallergenic and ideal for sensitive skin. It's lightweight and durable.

To care for your jewelry and ensure they stay perfect for a long time, follow these tips:

  • Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid contact between your jewelry and chlorine, sweat, perfume, or sea salt.
  • Don't stack your jewelry; they might scratch each other.
  • Clean your silver jewelry once every two or three months to maintain their shine.

Soak the jewelry in a bowl with water and soap for ten minutes, gently rub them with a cotton cloth, and dry them with a towel or cloth. Alternatively, you can clean them with the cloth included in your purchase.

Another option we offer is to visit our physical store at 8 Av. del Regne de Valencia, where we can clean your jewelry for you. With the purchase of your jewelry, we offer two cleanings.

Just show the purchase receipt, and you're all set! We'll be happy to assist you.

The reason jewelry tarnishes is oxidation, which occurs when the jewelry comes into contact with acids. When your jewelry rubs against other bracelets or hair ties or comes into contact with liquids, a certain level of corrosion happens.

Many of you might think jewelry tarnishes from being stored away, and you'd be right! Storing jewelry can also cause them to tarnish.
