What kind of tattoos can you get with Lourdes?
I started experimenting with realism at the age of 14, as I had wanted to be a fashion designer for many years. Marilyn Monroe was my idol since I was very little, and when I bought my first folder for ESO, the first thing I did was to draw Marilyn to paste it in the folder. This is what led to my career with realism. I loved how my first face looked so much that I couldn't stop drawing. People began to ask me for portraits: grandparents, couples, animals... At the age of 16, Instagram introduced me to one of my favorite realism tattoo artists. The first time I saw his work, a light bulb went on in my head: “Imagine doing what I do on a sheet, on the skin”. When started my Bachelor of Arts, I surrounded myself with artists who trusted me implicitly and thanks to them at the age of 17, I started tattooing and since then I have not stopped. I knew that it was a vocation when everything else stopped seeming so important, and tattooing gave me greater confidence with myself and others.
In the end, I think we go through different stages. Depending on the people we surround ourselves with, we may be more or less happy with the world in which we move. We should always look for people who motivate us to continue doing what we do and not be negative, since this is a very difficult profession and it is easy for people to make you feel discouraged. But I would not change it for anything: the bond you create with customers, the trust they place in you and leaving a record on the skin of others is a gift.
Fine line and microrealism. Little by little I would like to grow in realism and open up to large pieces.
My colleagues. I have found a home in which I feel supported and valued, both artistically and personally.
