I work across a wide range of styles, including blackwork, fine line, floral, ornamental and illustrative. My specialty is linework, particularly pieces inspired by engraving and etching, influenced by classical art and traditional printmaking techniques.
Yes, always. For large, multi-session projects it's mandatory.
Per session for large pieces. For smaller pieces, it depends on working hours, style and complexity.
What sets my work apart is the technique I've developed around the line itself. I build pieces through layers of lines, varying their thickness, direction and density to create depth, texture and contrast without relying on traditional shading. This gives my work its own visual language, somewhere between drawing, printmaking and tattooing.
Always during the healing process, and after 4 weeks I check how the final result turned out.
