Más sobre GERARD SÁNCHEZ

My main style is realism. Within it, I especially enjoy working on surrealism and chicano, styles I feel very comfortable with and love developing in my projects.

Yes, of course. When you get in touch with me, the first step is usually for you to come by the studio so we can talk through your idea calmly. There we take measurements, discuss the design, answer any questions and, if everything fits, book your appointment.

I work with a fixed price per session and an estimate of the number of sessions each piece or body area needs. It may vary depending on the final design and the sessions the project requires. On large projects I try to adjust the price per session a little to make it easier to complete the piece.

I like working in a style with strong visual impact, based on the contrast between well-defined dark blocks and areas of light. I pay close attention to the interplay of light and shadow, and I use negative space strategically to bring brightness and balance. That way my work looks powerful when freshly done and, once healed, still looks clean, fresh and well-defined.

Yes, absolutely. I always do at least one touch-up session once the tattoo has fully healed. Not because it didn't turn out well, but because every skin heals differently and small details may show up that are worth going over. My goal is for the final result to be as clean and polished as possible.
